Privacy Policy

1. Your Bowling Data Stays on Your Device

Laneroll stores your bowling data locally on your device. We do not upload it to our servers, keep a cloud copy, or create an online account for you.

Local data may include:

• Games, rolls, scorecards, series, dates, and session notes
• Bowler profiles and optional profile photos
• Venues, bowling balls, ball photos, weights, and notes
• Statistics, preferences, and onboarding selections
• Imported backup data

2. Information We Do Not Collect

We do not require your name, email address, phone number, password, or an account to use Laneroll. We do not receive your bowling records, photos, notes, statistics, or exported backups. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data.

If you email us for support, we receive the email address and information you choose to include so we can respond to your request.

3. Photos and Device Permissions

Laneroll may ask for access to your photo library when you choose a photo for a bowler or bowling ball. Access is optional and used only for the action you request. Selected photos remain part of the app's local data on your device.

You can review or revoke app permissions in your device settings.

4. Sharing, Exporting, and Importing

Laneroll shares data only when you initiate an action such as sharing a scorecard, exporting a file, or saving a backup. Once you send or save an export outside Laneroll, the destination you choose controls that copy.

When you import a backup, Laneroll reads the selected file and saves its supported contents locally on your device. We do not receive a copy of imported or exported files.

5. Storage, Security, and Device Backups

Laneroll is designed so your bowling data is 100% on-device and is not stored in a Laneroll cloud database. Protecting access to your device also protects the information stored in the app. No method of electronic storage can be guaranteed completely secure, so we recommend using a device passcode and keeping your operating system up to date.

Your device's own backup settings may include app data in a device backup. Those backups are controlled by you and your device settings; Laneroll does not operate or access them.

6. Retention and Deletion

Your data remains on your device until you edit or delete it, reset local data in Laneroll, or remove the app. You can delete individual records or all Laneroll data using the controls available in the app. We cannot recover deleted local data.

7. Children's Privacy

Laneroll does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because the app does not require an account and bowling data remains local, we do not receive a child's bowling data.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when Laneroll changes or when required by law. The current version will be posted here with a new "Last Updated" date.
